The modal fabric washes well, holds its shape and color. The fit of this hipster is like a gentle caress because it is barely noticeable and feels silky. The waistband lays against your body without digging in and does not create a muffin top. This is my favorite panty for all of these reasons. Please offer it in more colors.

Size
Super soft. I love the way these feel. I am a size 14w-16w and bought a "Large." They are definitely larger than I expected. I should have bought a medium. I was so excited to own these super soft undies that I removed all the tags and washed them before trying a pair on. They do still fit, but a little loose.
I wear a large in most styles but the medium in this style fits me better. I've only worn these for a few months so I don't know how well they hold up in the long term but I am so happy with them I decided to replace most of my other brands with the Dang Soft undies
If you are used to Duluth sizing - that is to say, "runs a little big" compared to other retailers - then I would say these run true to size. If you're not used to Duluth sizing, you will think these fully "run large". At 5'6", ranging 145-150 lbs, 33" waist and 41.5" hips, I am often between sizes in Duluth products. I bought my usual 2 sizes to compare (S and M) and initially thought I preferred the S, thinking the M was a little loose. But a year later - and at a time when I'm toward the heavier side of my usual weight swings - I find myself repeatedly seeking out the M's for overall comfort, and saving the S's for last. While I love the Dang Soft line in general, I greatly prefer this cut over the non-hipster version because it sits just below my belly button where the others fully cover my belly button. (Side note: I don't consider these to be mid-rise. Anything that comes anywhere near my belly button is high rise IMO.) So while I am generally a fan (hence the 4 stars), Duluth could improve this product in two ways. (1) Stop giving us colors that all look similar and incorporate some different ones, including dark colors! The solid colors are softer than the prints so you can curtail the hideous prints too. (2) This style is very similar to the non-hipster. Why not differentiate it by making it a true mid-rise for those of us that don't like our undies to come up so high? I would replace half my underwear drawer if you did these two things! In the meantime, I'll keep checking back in hopes that these wishes eventually come true.
Had a less than great day when I bought my usual size and these slid completely down after an hour or so. Luckily I was wearing pants, but it made it super awkward. Comfy but need to size down.
