I've worn several styles of Duluth work pants throughout about the past 8-10 years. These are by-far the best pants I've found, even when compared to other, more known companies that manufacture work/duty pants. These ones repel a little bit of moisture, but when they do get wet, they dry fairly quickly. They are breathable yet durable. The waistband stretches just enough to be comfy. As someone who has never had a "thigh gap" in their entire adult life, these pants have held up to thigh rub with no damage to the fabric in that area. They also don't fade in the wash! For reference, I wear these at least 8 hours every weekday as a CSI in Florida. I'm glad they listened to the customers and switched from a snap closure on the Dry on the Fly pants to a button! It just shows that the company truly cares about the input from the people who use their products daily!

What grown woman wants to wear red pants?
"Dry on the Fly" slim leg pants are my preferred gear for the demands as head lighthouse keeper of an offshore lighthouse located in northern Lake Michigan. Features such as the dry on the fly fabric for rainy weather or soaking boat rides, multiple functional pockets, and the ability to roll up the pant legs or leave them long when biting flies are a nuisance make these such a versatile and necessary part of my station gear. Can you please make the khaki color available again?
I play on 4 golf leagues & may be back to purchase more. I love them because they're light, comfortable & can be changed into capri length.
These pants stretch out a ton at least 1-2 sizes, so go at least a size down. The most disappointing thing to me is that Duluth doesn't offer any sizes smaller than a size two. I am a brewer and need good pants that are moisture wicking and have a decent amount of pockets, but sadly Duluth doesn't think small women need work wear. The firehose pants are a great in theory, but the fabric isn't comfortable for working long hours and doesn't breathe well. I am very disappointed and won't be buying from Duluth again.
