Purchased black last year & the blue this year. 5'5", 125-130 lbs, size XS & fit perfectly. The fabric gives & has stretch, but doesn't bag out…the drawstring with toggle on cuffs very handy. Extremely lightweight & also quick-dry. Keep one pair for fly fishing & other pair for gardening. Will probably order knee pads for gardening. LOVE them!

Ever catch a glimpse of two cows standing head to tail, each dutifully swatting flies for the other, and think, Dang, I wish someone would do that for me? We've read your mind. Behold, the No Fly Zone® Lightweight Garden Overalls! With a borderline-absurd 13 total pockets, utility loop, sunglasses loop, no-slip elasticized straps and bungee cinches at the hems, these pants are an overall garden bounty of function, crafted from stretchy ripstop fabric treated with an odorless finish that repels flies, ticks, skeeters and other creepy-crawlies. No tail in your face required.

First, I completely disagree with the other reviews from Maine saying that these aren't effective for ticks. They 100% without a doubt are! I live, farm, and recreate in central Maine and also have a cabin deep in the heart of the North Maine Woods. I have had these NFZ overalls for two seasons now and I give these a 5 star rating at protecting me from ticks, mosquitoes, and the dreaded Maine black flies! I also give them 5 stars when it comes to lighter-weight but strong fabric. However, when it comes to functionality, they're a 4 star - at least when I compare them to the Heirloom gardening bibs. The pockets on these NFZ ones are uncomfortable when filled with tools and farm stuff, unlike the HG ones, AND I wish they had the Velcro top pocket feature to be able to keep it open when I need to. The HG ones are much heavier weight though as compared to these and are just too hot to wear in humid summer months. Duluth, if you made NFZ bibs in *even* lighter weight fabric, with the design and pocket placements of the heirlooms, whoa! I'd be in literal love with you (but please keep the cinching ankles though because we need that in buggy areas). Also, no amount of any insect spray, treatment, or whatever is going to ever keep an insect from falling onto us from a tree or from ending up on a pant leg if we walk through tall grass. But in the two years I've had these, the only times I've had any ticks on me were when I was not wearing these. Same goes for my husband with his pair of men's NFZ pants and our NFZ shirts. These are the best we've found!
Was very glad to see garden overalls available in No Fly Zone fabric. Perfect for gardening, hiking, and camping. Wish the pockets were the same as the other overalls. Don't see the benefit of switching the left and right features. The velcro flap on the chest would be more useful if it overlapped ALL the chest pockets, not just the zippered one.
1 star or less as a tick protection garment above the norm of any clothing. Great as lightweight overalls. Wore to garden in. Tick on pant leg. 3 ticks inside. Wore the no fly zone jacket under the overall bib. Ticks on shoulder, arm, abdomen. Lightweight so better for hot weather when full coverage is needed as a pest deterrent. Not any more effective than non- no fly zone overalls.
Lighter weight than Duluth's other overalls. A plus in warmer weather. Wore them to garden in, immediately spotted a tick walking up the pant leg. Found 3 more ticks on skin,, one under the 2 layers of no fly zone (the overall bib and the shirt jac inside the bib), another on shoulder under jac and another on arm under sleeve.
