This hat is really nice! The lambs wool feels high quality, I've been wearing it for an hour so far and my forehead hasn't been itchy yet. (I did take a seam ripper to the pom-pom because I don't like them on most hats, in case anyone was wondering from the picture why there isn't one on it lol.) Overall it's very warm, and super glad that Duluth offered a size L/XL in a beanie so that it's extra roomy! Most knitted hats squeeze my head too tight so this is a big thumbs up.
The material is very thick and really keeps my head warm and cozy. I have a small head, but A LOT of thick, long, curly hair so I love that this hat comes in a larger size, which is large enough to fit my hair into and cover my ears! ( I've made a very hard time finding hats that can do this). Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my forehead occasionally gets itchy at the folded down part when my head begins to sweat. I haven't washed it yet so that might solve the issue.
