I do not like this design as much as the older style Shoreline Windblocking Coats. As far as style, the permanent waist "band" and the flared skirted back I do not like. I feel like I have on a dress as opposed to a coat. The material is sub-par compared to the older Shoreline Coats and the colors offered are very "meh". I still have my burgandy/wine colored one from about 5 years ago and it is superior to this coat. I tried the grey color to purchase something along the lines of black but sent it back due to above review. Please go back to the older style! Why do companies insist on changing products when all they receive are good reviews on previous styles.....? This practice eludes me....
Women's Shoreline Sweater Fleece Jacket
Everyone loves a good sweater fleece when temperatures dip, but we’ve gone ahead and upped the ante on performance with a built-in membrane that stops biting wind in its tracks! The Shoreline Sweater Fleece Jacket’s built with those Duluth-y details our customers expect, like a 3-piece hood, underarm gussets that give you room to re-e-e-each and a droptail that covers your caboose. 3 total pockets secure your stuff – including 2 handwarmers and a zipped chest pocket for cards, cash and keys. And of course, it’s brushed soft on the inside so you’ll always feel comfy-cozy – even when November winds come a-howlin’!
I really like this coat. It's a bit fitted in the waist. Gives nice warmth over the rear. I am 5'3, 110 lbs. Hourglass figure. I have no problems with tight sleeves like mentioned in other reviews and really like that it's not big and boxy.
I love everything about this coat. Warm. Good length. Hood. It would be better if the sleeves were lined to make it easier to take off and on over a sweater. Also, while the fabric is warm, it has already started to pill up. This same coat in a canvas or fleece would be perfect.
This has been one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. It is the perfect winter court. A good, thick material and it's wind proof. I've gone out on super windy days and the only parts of me that are cold are what's exposed around the coat lol. Fits true to size. Has a bunch of pockets and they are insulated as well to keep you warm and it covers your butt. I can't recommend this enough.
I love this jacket. It's nice for when it's a little chilly out but you don't want to wear a heavy coat. It's very flexible to move around in, while at the same time heavy duty. It works well where I live (out in the country), and has stood up to jumping up and scratching by my big Airedale terrier. I'm petite 5'1" and the XS fits perfectly. I purchased it because I wanted a fleece but windproof since the gusts can get pretty hairy where I live.
