Smartwool Saturnsphere socks are my go-to socks for everyday wear. My feet are always cold and I wear wool socks from September to June. I am a solid size 7 1/2 narrow footed gal. I order a Medium in the Saturnsphere and they shrink just enough to fit great. The toe box is not restrictive or baggy and there is no annoying seam bugging your toes. They are not bulky enough to have to size up your shoes and they are fantastic with a pair of Keen sandals (yes, I am one of those, I dare you to try it!). If you own one pair only and wear them three days a week, they should last about three years. I have now rounded out my collection to about seven pairs and they last well over five years with once a week wear. Just a side note: other styles of Smartwool socks fit differently, so be aware of that.

Inspired by rugged ski life in the Colorado Rockies, it’s no wonder Smartwool has been running rings around cotton socks for over 20 years. Their secret? Soft, ultra-fine merino wool fibers that naturally regulate temperature and manage moisture. Plus, Smartwool® Saturnsphere Socks are thoughtfully designed with comfort and performance features that make the most of our earthly gravity. Like supportive arch bracing, a touch of spandex to prevent sagging, and a lightly padded footbed for cushion in every step. Now that’s quality you can see with the naked eye!

She loved the socks. Fit her perfect and wants more.
I hope Smartwool hasn't decided to cut back on quality. I love their socks and hope they'll still be worth the money! The two pairs I ordered this year are piling and thinning after just a few washes. Not the same quality as the cushy, comfy Saturnsphere socks I've ordered in previous years. Very disappointing, given the price. I'm noticing other sites selling Smartwool socks with similar negative reviews and complaints.
These are thin enough for office shoes but also have nice cushioning. Stylish too!
