Women's Dry on the Fly 10" Shorts

I purchased the 10" and the 7" shorts in the tan color and I am very happy with them. I normally wear a 16 but I purchased 14 based on other reviews. They are fitted but comfortable. I like the wide band in the back and I think it makes a significant difference in the comfort of these shorts. I also really like the gusseted fabric in the crotch area. If I had purchased a 16 they would have been too large.

I realize these get high reviews, but I did not find these shorts comfortable. The material was stiff and I felt it would feel warm and not very breathable in the summer time. I do not know if they soften up with washing, but I was not willing to keep them to find out. The fit was off for me. I ordered 2 sizes, the smaller size fit me in the hips and thighs with the waist being just a bit snug, but wearable. The larger size was way too roomy in hips and thighs, but the waist was more comfortable. The multi-colored blue shorts are darker in person, and because of this, I felt they looked more like they were for a male.

I just ordered my 3rd pair of these shorts. I walk my dogs every morning in these. They have enough pockets for everything I carry. Even a water bottle for the pups fit in a side pocket. I live in Florida and this material is very nice. It also keeps its shape and doesn't stretch out even though the fabric will move with you when you bend and reach. The 10" is a perfect length for me. Ing camping next week. All 3 pair will be packed!

These shorts are perfect for summer wear. I am tall and prefer longer length in shorts. I purchased size 2. I am active and hike, bike, kayak all over. Finding shorts that dry quickly and keep a retired person modest, is great. I appreciate the 10 inch length.

I live in these short all summer they dry fast ,wash up great love all the pockets I wear them for work , hiking and gardening running errands The only drawback is I wish they offered more colors like navy blue fatigue, green or dark gray and different color of khaki
