I do field Trial competitions in fall winter and spring. I have bought huge name brand hunting boots. They last 1 season and my feet stay wet!! So I thought I will try these. I will never go back to no other boot but these. I go through snow and rain wet and muddy terrain and these boots are amazing. Plus cleaning kennels etc. comfortable as they get, and feet stay absolutely warm,
Women's KEEN Revel IV Mid Polar Boots
With a host of cold- and slush-busting features, KEEN® Revel IV Polar Boots are built smart and built tough. Heat-holding KEEN.WARM insulation keeps feet toasty down to a teeth-rattling -25°F and the KEEN.DRY waterproof/breathable membrane blocks out moisture while letting vapor escape, so your feet won’t feel like they’re trapped in a sauna. The Thermal Heat Shield footbed keeps cold out and heat in thanks to an outer layer of woolly softness, a middle layer of support cushioning and a thermal foil barrier to harness radiant heat. And true to KEEN form, they offer superior cushioning, ankle support and stability, plus plenty of room for your toes to spread out. Last but not least, the leather is sourced from a Leather Working Group-certified tannery, so you can feel good about treading more lightly on the environment, too.

Size
I purchased these for a winter expedition in Yellowstone this winter. Right out of the box they were super comfortable so no breaking in period. They're true to size and fit really well (I wear an 9.5 wide in regular shoes and ordered the 9.5 in these). Able to wear thick wool socks with this sizing. Have been out in snow and heavy rain with cozy dry feet in these. Laces are just the right length, which I really appreciate as laces that are too long are such a pet peev of mine.
I live in the PNW and it is mud season. These boots keep my feet comfy, warm, and dry. Even better they keep me from slipping in the muddy mucky horse pastures!
I'm a farmer here in the city of Chicago - yes, farmer - and working outside during the winter in general can be unforgiving. Shoveling snow AND chicken output? Abysmal. My husband and I just spent a full day outside shoveling heavy wet snow off of the adjacent sidewalks of our urban farm and throughout the neighborhood. I stepped in puddles full of ice and even spilled ice-cold water off of a tent onto these boots and not an ounce of that good old Chicago classic snow or water leaked into these boots. They are well worth the money they cost if you are going to use them in the environment that they are created for. I'm a Keens fan, and these have sealed the deal fully.
The boots are very comfortable and supportive for hiking. Good tread on snow. I expect them to wear well and last a long while, if my past experience with the brand is any indicator. I'm ready to buy a second pair just to be sure I can get the same boots before Keen retires this model.
