Wander Out Whatever the Weather

Comfort, weight and protection from the elements are often a series of trade-offs when it comes to footwear. But Vasque Torre AT GTX Boots manage to tip the scales in your favor for all three. It starts with the Vibram® Lightbase Sole, which cuts 30% of the weight compared to Vibram’s previous soles without sacrificing any of the traction – its Megagrip compound and aggressive lugs give you sure footing on slick or uneven terrain. The high-rebound footbed absorbs shock to keep you comfortable through hikes on hard ground. Plus the mesh and suede upper are backed by a GORE-TEX waterproof/breathable barrier so you can range out after a rainfall and stay dry through the whole trek.

Features
  • Lightweight hiking boots that stay dry through iffy shoulder season weather
  • GORE-TEX® waterproof/breathable membrane prevents soggy feet
  • Grippy and durable Vibram® Lightbase Sole for superior traction without the weight
  • ATC (All Terrain Composite) midsole and high-rebound footbed for shock-absorbing comfort
  • Waterproof leather uppers stay supple after a splash

Hold up great-but at what cost?

I also really wanted to like these boots. They held up for a few months of timber cruising and recreational hiking, and are still in great condition. But these boots made my feet hurt more than ever :( hated that I had to take them back

Wanted to like them

I returned these boots. I hike over 100 miles a month on a very regular basis. I have several pair of hiking boots but wanted some that would remain comfortable Evan after 10 to 15 miles. I balked at the cost at first but felt it would be worth it if they were great boots. I've never had any boot hurt my feet more than these. They were too high and caused a rash around my ankles and the way the toe box was created a corn on my toe next to the pinky. I finally bit the bullet and bought a different expensive pair from another vendor and absolutely love them. I purchase all my clothes for the most part from Duluth and never really had an issue until these boots.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Favorite one of all!

I have many Vasque boots, but these are by far the absolute best! Better traction, comfort, arch support, inside material for breathing and outside for waterproofing. My feet feel amazing in these and they are soooo nice looking. The blue is my favorite. I highly recommend purchasing them.

Great experience with Duluth employees are great

I love these boots. I bought them for ankle support because I had broke my ankle in the early spring and I wanted a boot with ankle support. These are very stiff in the ankles but that works for my needs and I recommend them if you have a weak ankles and are looking for stiff support. I think the foot bed is very comfortable and lightweight. I wear a size nine and I ordered a nine and they fit perfectly. I think they look great and I wear them for my landscaping job and they work out well for that kind of work. I ordered them from the store and they ended up costing less than it said on line. Also the Duluth employees are really great every time I shop in the store. Thanks Duluth!
